Our 2023 Events Season

The nights are starting to draw in and the leaves are starting to turn. Autumn is coming, which means that show season is coming to an end. For Albert and Maurice, shows are a vital part of our calendar. We get to show off our fabulous brand and meet lots of new customers! This year the brand has attended more events, and there are only more to come!

Hereford Young Farmers Rally

Our show year started at the busy and bustling Hereford Federation of Young Farmers Clubs Rally in May. This is a great event and an honour to attend alongside other local businesses. It’s a privilege to see such talent on display, and this is the perfect way of bringing the whole county together, with one passion, agriculture. We had lots of first-time visitors to Albert and Maurice and a few repeat customers! It was lovely to speak to the many young people who work outdoors every day about our brand and its history, alongside how the brand was created for this type of customer. The HFYFC Rally really is a great point in the year, kickstarting show season with such a friendly and inquisitive crowd.

The Royal Three Counties Show

Next up, we had the Three Counties Show in Malvern. This was the first time we attended this local, annual show. It really showed us what a family-friendly event it is! The summer sunshine brought customers out in their masses, and whilst it wasn’t the weather to buy coats, it was perfect for our shirts! This was proved by several customers coming onto our stand wearing theirs which they had purchased previously! The wonderful mix of agriculture, celebs and family fun makes this a great show for locals, and the perfect event to showcase our brand.

The Game Fair

After this came The Game Fair at Ragley Hall, the beast of all shows which draws in keengamekeepers, beaters, and country bumpkins in the thousands. We were situated on the Philip Morris and Son stand on Gunmakers Row and had a great spot at the front, where passers-by and shoppers alike could take in the delights that are Albert and Maurice and indulge in gifts for friends and family, alongside purchases for themselves of course. With the weather on our side, the show went brilliantly and we saw lots of people come and go with Albert and Maurice shirts both on their backs and in their bags.

The last event of the season is the Christmas Shopping Fair, held at The New Inn at St Owens Cross. This is great for local brands and businesses to come together, enabling customers to purchase all their Christmas shopping in one place, whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly!

Shows and events are the ultimate way to show off our brand in the location where it belongs: amongst our target customers. The wonderful reaction we get to our products is great to see when so much hard work and dedication goes into producing them.
